Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Thursday, May 26, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Put in to bat by Rajasthan, Royal Challengers posted 157 for nine in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant half-century from Rajat Patidar. The Rajasthan bowlers were in good form, with Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Trent Boult all picking up two wickets each.

Rajasthan, in reply, chased down the target with seven wickets and five balls to spare, thanks to a superb half-century from Jos Buttler and an unbeaten 45 from Sanju Samson.

The win means that Rajasthan will now face Gujarat Titans in the final of the IPL 2022 on Sunday, May 29.
